Have not done this in a while

It;s been a while since I have felt motivated to write something beyond a few comments here and there. Low and behold tonight I ended up cranking out a poem about my wife...

Dreaming softly of things out of reach
Smiling sweetly with you standing next to me
A whisper on my mind, a word in my throat
Pondering aloud, laughing quietly
With you I stand strong, sleeping soundly
Thoughts of you will keep me until tomorrow
You in my arms will keep me forever

She means so much to me it's kinda funny to think how I got along for so many years without her around. How do married people deal with loosing one of the 2 later in life? I could never imagine myself without her at this point, yikes I dont even want to think about it.
