Time is ticking

Time has this amazing way of catching up with you when it comes to getting things done. I can't believe how much is still left to do for Mike and Vanessa's trip to see us. I had to put some items on hold to repair a sprinkler blow out in our upper neighbors yard yesterday. It was causing our yard to flood in the back... always a good time.

I spent a few minutes working on a photo project today, nothing major just something fun I saw that I wanted to try. Capturing water ripples as they fall into a plate of water. I used food coloring on the plate because our plates are all standard colors and therefore suck for picking up changes on film. I am not happy with the results but it is giving me a place to work from and improve. I really want to spend some time capturing stuff before the weather goes to shit this year.

Other then that we have been cleaning like crazy, I installed some new interior locks in the house and worked on cleaning the garage and yard up a bit more. Still a lot of work to do but we are making progress which is a good feeling
